Closer look at NYX's mega shine lip gloss in "Pink Rose."
In the summer I tend to gravitate towards brighter colors, and this summer has been no exception. I love the colors and formulations of all of the lippies shown which is pretty important to me since I'm pretty picky about lip products.

Here's where you can get these lip products:

MAC's Surf Baby lip stick in the color "Hibiscus" was limited edition, so It's sadly not available.
NYX Round Case Lip Stick in "Narcissus" can be found here
Revlon Lip Butter in "Strawberry Shortcake" can be found here
Maybelline Color Sensational in "Fifth Avenue Fuchsia" can be found here
Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in "Shocking Coral" can be found here

Brighten

Dress - Ross (brand is "Just Love")
Cardigan - Merona from Target
Sandals - Sam Edelman
Necklace - Freedom Firm

I'm so in love with maxi dresses for Summer; I would wear them all the time if I could! This one is especially fun since it's so colorful, and it's amazing for days when I want to look nice but still want to be comfortable and have something easy to move around in (which is helpful today since I have to tackle cleaning out my closet).

Ooh! And here's something new: I'm going to start a "schedule" for my blog! Sundays are outfits, Tuesdays are beauty related, and Thursdays are whatever I feel like (DIYs, fashion, beauty, etc.).

Anyway, I hope y'all are having a fabulous Sunday and a great week!

Cheers Y'all,

Girly Summer

Flats - The Webster Miami collab with Target from last year
Bag - Kenneth Cole Reaction

I am absolutely loving this dress, It's super girly and perfect for hot days like today (plus it only cost $20 from H&M!).

Another great thing about this dress is that I think I can wear it during the fall because of it being off white/ivory instead of  a stark white, which doesn't always work well during fall/winter seasons. I would pair it with a jacket and some tights, so I'm pretty sure it's going to get some good use :)

Anyway, I hope y'all are having a beautiful day!

Cheers,

P.S. Have you seen the social icons that were recently added to my blog? Please check out some of the them when you get a chance!

Nail Polish Organization

For some reason it has taken me forever to come up with a good solution for storing nail polish. I've tried so many different things like storing the bottles on their sides in drawers (which is not recommended) and using a tray (not enough room for the excessive amounts of bottles), so I decided to come up with something new.

I went to Target the other day (because Target is magic) and went to the organization/storage section trying to come up with a solution and found this:

I love this container (links to-buy will be below), it's a stacked container that has two compartments, which is perfect for me because I can put my polishes on the top level and nail supplies (buffers, cotton pads, polish remover, etc.) on the bottom level or vice versa.

I use dividers on the top compartment so that the polishes won't move around and so that I can group different colors separately. They also help keep the bottles standing up-right instead of laying on their sides (which can be bad for the polish over time).

And finally, I put some anti-slip drawer liner at the bottom of each compartment to make sure that nothing moves around, and voila! Perfect nail polish organization.

Here's where you can find all the supplies mentioned:

1. Two-Compartment Organizer (Buy Here)
2. I found the 3-compartment and the single drawer dividers at Target for about $1-3, but for some reason I can't find them online. You can find these basically anywhere in stores, though.
3. Anti-slip Shelf Liner (Buy Here)

Thanks for checking out this post, and please feel free to leave a comment telling me how you organize your nail polish!

Juillet Ensemble (Because Everything Sounds Better in French)

Top - Forever21
Skirt - Old Navy
Flats - TOMS
Bag - Merona
Watch - Fossil
Necklace - Forever21

How in the world is it the middle of July? Does anyone else feel like this is kind of crazy?

Since it is the middle of the July, and because it has been pretty hot where I live, I have been taking full advantage of wearing thin tops that breathe easily as well as skirts and shorts. I can't wait until Fall, though, so I can pull out my sweaters and boots (I'm so picky when it comes to the weather... if you couldn't already tell from previous posts).

Anyway, I hope y'all had a great week! Look out for posts on how I organize my nail polish and my back-to-school wishlist later this week!

Yesterday

Dress - Xhiliration
Shoes - Mossimo
Necklace - Freedom Firm

This outfit was actually from yesterday, but I had no time to actually post it since my day was pretty crazy; It was one of those days, I guess.

I got this dress from my sister in-law for my birthday last month, and I'm loving it. It's perfect for this horrible weather and the color is gorgeous so it's a win-win, right?

Anyway, hoping y'all are having a fabulous Monday!

Summer Days, Long Skirts, Don't Care

Top - Old Navy
Maxi Skirt - Old Navy (last Summer)
Sandals - Sam Edelman (Buy them Here)
Necklace - vintage
Bracelets - got them from a jewelry swap, so I'm not sure

I love maxi skirts because I feel like they make me look taller, and who doesn't love that? They're also incredibly nice to wear in the summer because of their versatility; you can dress them up or down and they still look fabulous.

What about you, do you love maxi skirts? And the really important question, where do you like to buy them?

Let me know in the comments, s'il vous plait!
